Cookies For You

Peanut Butter-Choco Chip Cookies

This recipe is one of the easiest, most scrumptious cookies I ever tried. When I prepared this my son said, "it's yummy and delicious, can you bake some more?" So if your kids love peanut butter and chocolate, try this for them.

  • 2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups sugar*
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Procedures:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degree celsius
  2. In a medium bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar and eggs. Mix well with a wooden spoon until smooth and well blended
  3. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
  4. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls, two inches apart, on ungreased cookie sheets.
  5. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool on cookie sheets for a few minutes then transfer to wire rack. Let cool completely.
  6. Store in airtight containers to keep from getting soggy.

Note:* If you use the sweet, old fashioned type peanut butter, use only 1 1/2 cups sugar.
